On Monday, January 30, 2023, The Food Brigade held a registration drive at the organization's new Union City distribution location. This new Food Brigade food pantry will serve residents of Hudson County, including Union City, North Bergen, Jersey City, and West New York. The registration event included the distribution of 1,100 meals to local residents dealing with food insecurity, including stewed chicken with rice, roasted pork with rice, chicken teriyaki with rice, and pasta and meatballs. The meals were provided by Lula's Latin Cuisine of Bergenfield and Cassie's Pizzeria & Restaurant of Englewood.
