One of our mottos at The Food Brigade is "Always Be Learning". That's why we frequently visit other area food pantries and hunger-relief organizations to learn what we can from their experience, knowledge, and operations. On August 31, Food Brigade Executive Director Carmine DeMarco and President Karen DeMarco visited the Franklin Food Bank to observe their "client choice" pantry, which is run in a grocery store setting complete with shopping carts.
