The Food Brigade's President, Karen DeMarco, has been named to the Points of Light Foundation's 2022 Inspiration Honor Roll.

The Points of Light Foundation was founded by U.S. President George H.W. Bush, who in his inaugural address invoked the image of a "thousand points of light" and invited the nation to serve their fellow citizens.

The Inspiration Honor Roll was created to celebrate acts of service, kindness, and civic engagement by individuals who create change in communities around the world. It recognizes the people who take action, in both large and small ways, to improve the lives of others.
