On a rainy Saturday, December 3, 2022, The Food Brigade's co-founders, Karen DeMarco (President) and Carmine DeMarco (Executive Director), made surprise deliveries of supermarket gift cards and cartons of fresh eggs to a number of delivery clients in Hackensack, Elmwood Park, Fair Lawn, and Maywood, who lack the ability to travel to pick up from the weekly on-site food distributions.
