On Sunday, December 4, 2022, The Food Brigade's President, Karen DeMarco, and Executive Director, Carmine DeMarco, made surprise deliveries of supermarket gift cards and cartons of fresh eggs to a number of delivery clients in the City of Garfield, who lack the ability to travel to pick up from the weekly food distribution events.
